Nancy was a critical care nurse for hospital patients for 10 years before deciding to return to school for a law degree. As an attorney, she has litigated hundreds of high profile cases and has successfully obtained million dollar settlements and verdicts for her clients. Above and beyond being a registered nurse and attorney, Nancy is also a published author and highly sought-after public speaker. The combination of Nancy’s expertise in medicine and law makes her one of the most well-rounded and knowledgeable attorneys at KP&A. Nancy obtained her degree in Nursing from The University of Alabama and a master’s degree in Critical Care Nursing from California State University, Long Beach before obtaining her Juris Doctor from The University of Southern California. Nancy is a member of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth District, the American Association for Justice, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Long Beach Bar Association. She is also involved with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and the Ball-Hunt Inn of Court. Nancy is admitted to the State Bar of California.
