James is a Senior Associate at KPA, where he heads the pharmaceutical practice group which focuses on pharmaceutical issues, product liability, catastrophic personal injury and mass tort litigation. His experience includes serving on the Plaintiff’s Executive Committee in the Vioxx Product Liability Litigation, Liaison Counsel for the California State Litigation involving Celebrex/Bextra, Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the Avandia litigation, and Discovery Committee in the Levaquin litigation in the Superior Court of New Jersey.

James’ dedication to protecting plaintiffs has earned him recognition on the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 Southern California Super Lawyers–Rising Stars lists, an honor which is designated to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in Southern California.

James is a graduate of California State University of Los Angeles where he earned a degree in political science, and received his Juris Doctor from The University of California, Los Angeles. He is admitted to the State Bar of California and is a member of Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and American Association for Justice.
